JSC «IST» RAS is a complex multidisciplinary institute, which includes research and design departments, a center for experimental development of structures, which provides all types of tests.
The interaction of structural units allows solving the following tasks:
- to develop special composite materials and processes for their processing;
- to create calculation methods, design, manufacture and experimental development of structures made of composite materials;
- to design and manufacture technological equipment and tooling;
- to carry out pilot production, comprehensive testing of composite structures for various purposes.
