Development, manufacture and testing of prototypes of launching devices with automatic control of the descent speed for landing people and cargo from helicopters, and individual, and collective means of rescuing people from heights in case of fire, and other emergency situations.
Two models of devices based on the new principle of non-contact braking (without mechanical friction of moving parts) of a bobbin with a cable wound around it (tapes, ropes, etc.) were tested. They are designed for safe descent from a height of up to 150 meters. The proposed device can be both stationary (fixed on a high-altitude object, a helicopter) and portable (fixed on a person). The person’s descent speed is automatically set from 0.5 to 3 m / s depending on the choice of the descent weight. The device has the following advantages over existing ones:
- auto-regulation of the speed of descent of objects;
- lack of influence of weather conditions on safety and speed of descent;
- the absence of mechanical friction and wear in the nodes of the device;
- a wide range of weight of the laden load (from 30 to 250 kg) with a range of speed of descent from 0.5 to 3 m / s;
- the possibility of descent people in any physiological state;
- during the descent the arms and legs of a person are free;
- ease of operation — the device works on the principle of «hooked on, jumped and forgot»;
- The use of the device does not require special training for fleeing and descending people.
Specifications
